There are two monuments to Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko in Shevchenkove urban-type settlement, that symbolize love and respect for Great Kobzar, and the settlement has been named after his name since 1922. One of them you can see in the square of the railway station and another - on the central avenue of the settlement park.
