Pechenizke reservoir is often called the "Kharkiv Sea" due to its large size. Its mirror occupies 86.2 sq. km. The right bank is planted with oak forest. The left one, with a lot of small tributaries, is planted with pinewood. This is a favorite place for rest, fishing, yachting and active tourism of many Kharkiv residents.
