The trail combines places closely related to the Kharkiv period of life and work of the outstanding Ukrainian philosopher H.S.Skovoroda. In Kharkiv, tourists are invited to visit the Pokrovsky Cathedral, on the territory of which the Kharkiv Collegium was situated, where Hrygory Skovoroda was working as a teacher for some time. Philosopher and poet Skovoroda spent the last days of his life on the estate of landowner Andriy Kovalivsky, in Skovorodynivka village, Zolochiv district. Here, in The National Literary and Memorial Museum of H. S. Skovoroda you can find out about the life, philosophical, poetic, artistic and musical heritage of the Thinker. Among the exhibits of the museum there are books, paintings, personal goods and everyday objects that colourfully reflect the spirit of the Baroque era, which presented to the world the genius of Ukrainian philosophical thought.
In the park area tourists are attracted to the favourite place of philosophical reflections of Skovoroda - 700-year-old oak.
At the «Landscape Alley», the works of the participants of the International Symposium of Sculptors were installed. These works are the author's rethinking of Skovoroda's philosophy.
On the way from Kharkiv to Skovorodynivka usually visit the Onufriyivsky spring of the former Kuryag monastery and the Mykolayivsky temple in the settlement of Vilshany - the oldest wooden temple in the Kharkiv region.
