The stone church in the style of classicism was built in 1817 in honor of the feats of the Cossack Regiment of Barvinkove town, that became notable for during the liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman yoke. It was built with the participation of the imperial dynasty representatives and the donations of the landlords of Kukil-Yasnopolski and Bezpalchevi.
