The Cathedral of the assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in 1892 on donations ofKharkiv Roman Catholics of different nationalities. Its decorations are the stained glass windows, made in the tradition of medieval Gothic, bronze statues of pillar apostles and colorful frescoes.
