Kharkiv Academic Russian Drama Theater named after. O. S. Pushkin

The theater was created in 1933 when Kharkiv was the capital of the Ukrainian SSR.
Kharkiv Academic Russian Drama Theater named after. O. S. Pushkin is one of the leading theatrical groups in Ukraine which is consistently working on creating its own repertoire, a single actor's ensemble and its own artistic handwriting. There are 27 performances in the repertoire of the theater. In different years there were staged such performances like "Macbeth" by W. Shakespeare, "Decameron" by D. Boccaccio, "Chekhov laughs" by one-act comedies of O.P. Chekhov, "Memorial Prayer" by H. Horin and others.
