DERZHPROM

The building of state industry – «Derzhprom» is a transcendent architectural ensemble of the early XX century, a striking example of constructivism, the first and the largest at that time Soviet skyscraper. Its giant «broken» silhouette consists of multi-storied buildings, connected by transitions, which increase from the periphery to the center. This building is undoubtedly one of the main attractions of the city. Visiting Kharkiv, it's almost impossible to bypass it, as it located in the heart of the city – in Freedom square, which is, by the way, the largest square in Ukraine.
