(PREMIERE) FREAK-OPERA “ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD”

On June 27 (Sunday), at 18.30 on the Grand Stage of the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M. V. Lysenko – PREMIERE OF THE COMPLETELY SERIOUS FREAK-OPERA “ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD”. 

Exquisite parody or sharp grotesque, sweet joke or striking social satire? The opera “Orpheus in the Underworld” by Jacques Offenbach features all these elements, and much more. For good reason, on the basis of this opera, the production company of Skhid OPERA prepared an unusual spectacle – the completely serious freak-opera, which will surely enchant you with its bright theatricality!
 
As you can see, dear theatre-goers, there are a lot of surprises awaiting the audience of this performance. And the main of them will be the fact that this performance is, among other tings, about all of you!
