OPERETTA «DIE FLEDERMAUS»
On Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 18.30 on the Grand Stage of the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M.V. Lysenko see the operetta “Die Fledermaus”.
The wife learns that her husband is constantly betraying her. Their mutual acquaintance Falk decides to joke with the couple. He gives his maid, who dreams of becoming an actress, an invitation to a masquerade ball and a "bat" costume to "seduce" an unfortunate lovelace. This conversation is heard by the wife and she also decides to go to the ball to fall in love with her own husband again, but only under a mask ...
The plot is based on a real fact that took place in Paris. The librettists only changed names in the play by Meilhac and Halevy. The operetta "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss is just an entertaining performance, with bright and vivid music, full of Vienna waltz.
