Brotherhood-in-arms

During World War II, a line of front was taking place on the territory of Zmiiv district, where the Soviet troops carried heavy battles near Kharkiv. The memorial complexes and the Museum of Fighting Glory of guards-Shyronintsi and the Museum of Fighting Brotherhood of Soviet and Czechoslovakian warriors, known far beyond the boundaries of Kharkiv region, were built in Taranivka village on the place of the great deed of guards-Shyronintsi and in Sokolove village where Czechoslovakian warriors fought heroically along with Soviet warriors against the Nazis.
